Mac vs. PC....CNBC Knows All!

wow this gotta be the biggest load of crap that has to come out of news. no wonder why i dont even watch tv anymore especially the news.

PCs need the following things to "perform as well as a Mac": $50 a year for anti-virus software, $104 multimedia software, $100 music software, $140 "Photoshop—you get that with Apple" and $129 for a Geek Squad visit. Over $600 worth of extra stuff. Oh, and Macs get 4x the battery life, have faster processors and a higher resolution screen. [via gizmodo]

I'm a Pc person but I also have a mac since there are programs like aperture on macs that I need. I actually run both pc on my mac also when I need to.  Great laptop but its not the end all and it is also pricey as hell.  Anyone can get a pc to match my mac at half the price.

anti virus - FREE

itunes/winamp - FREE

windows media player/vlc/kmplayer - FREE

photoshop - Doesn't even come with OSX

movie software - imovie is pretty good but plenty of FREE alternatives out there.

battery life - 4x better. 8hrs Mac vs 2hrs Pc. how does one compare apples and oranges. also the 17inch Macbook Pro really only does 5hrs at the most.

I dont know where this Jim Golden gets his stuff but it seems he's just pulling shit out of ass with that photoshop stuff.  I wonder how much they pay this guy to bring out bogus stats. here's the video of him shooting crap out of his mouth and also of the other idiots that believe him.

A commentor pointed this out on gizmodo.
